Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child survive.
ABF Security team members have volunteered their time and used their skills to install security products donated by Alarm.com, to be placed in the homes to make them more secure.
We spoke with Angela Cassidy, Director of Builder Relations at ABF Security, to ask what this opportunity has meant to her team and how it feels to be part of such an incredible mission.

How has your experience been working on the St. Louis St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway?
Our experience has been very rewarding. To be able to provide a small portion that can help an organization that provides hope for patients and families, is beyond humbling. No child should ever have to experience childhood cancer. Every year we have been a part of this, has given all of us great pride in thinking that what we do matters.

What advice would you give to the new homeowner about securing their home and using the products installed?
Embrace technology! It’s here to stay and it gives you peace of mind and freedom of mind. We all have so much to worry about and the technology that is provided will allow you to be free of worry. It’s to make your life simpler, not more complicated. Let us show you how that is possible.
How will the products make the homeowners’ and their families’ lives easier?
Everyone’s day to day life is so full. What if something as simple as setting up a schedule for your thermostat could save you from having to worry about your comfort level and energy savings?
What if you came home and knew that no one had been in your home uninvited?
